Evolving Space is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Puerto Rico. We believe technological literacy is the foundation of the island's social and economic well-being. That is why we train teachers, students, public servants, and communities in AI and civic technology, so they can understand, use, and build technology that serves the people around them.

Puerto Rico's future belongs to people ready to learn, teach, and lead with technology. Evolving Space keeps AI literacy and emerging tech education within reach. We develop professionals with judgment, not tool users.
We've trained 500+ higher-ed faculty, hosted hackathons that turn shared problems into working tools, and built civic projects alongside community partners across the archipelago.

Tech Education
We train the community and professionals in AI, blockchain, tech ethics, and strategic planning. These workshops close the digital divide in Puerto Rico and open a path toward tech entrepreneurship.

We offer sponsored fellowships and intensive technical learning programs for emerging technologists in Puerto Rico. We design each program with academic and community partners to broaden educational access.
Civic Technology
We build open digital tools that solve real challenges for municipalities and public institutions. These tools also serve Puerto Rico's communities directly.
Community & Policy
We conduct pro bono research and educational programs on ethical AI adoption. We support public institutions across the archipelago in their digital modernization.

Does it cost anything?
Most of our workshops are free for participants, since sponsoring institutions and donors cover the cost. If your situation is different, reach out: we always look for a way to keep cost from being a barrier.
How do I bring a workshop to my campus or organization?
Tell us your campus or organization and the topic you are interested in. We will work out the date, format, and technical needs with you before confirming the workshop.
How do I donate?
You can donate online through our donate page. If you hold an Act 60 decree, ESC can receive up to $7,500 of the $10,000 you owe annually. See the Act 60 details.
